Re: MM, need filters or no?

The first thing I do with a new filtered MM is remove the filter. Like Ray, I like the more open draw. I find I can make the draw a little less open by packing a little firmer, if desired. Nothing wrong with using filters, I you like them, and many folks do.

MIxture 79 in a MM Country Gent. The temperature is warming slightly, but the wind is picking up, so net gain in outdoor comfort level is negative.

Re: What Are You Smoking January 2020

Jester Regular in an Old Dominion cob. I was afraid that I would dislike the reed stem, but find it to be ok so far. https://i.imgur.com/UGtkeOc.jpg It's gotta be better than a clay stem. Keep us informed how you like it. I'm looking at reed clays right now. I'm not against a reed stem. I would pic...

SP Cherry in a MM Missouri Pride, black coffee. 25 degrees outside, so that was a very short smoke, I'll DGT it later on. I can't take the cold like I once could!

Re: Hi folk, UK touching base.

Welcome to the forum. Pipes are much harder to master than cigars, but much more rewarding, IMHO.
