Re: Should I or shouldn't I???

I want to know where I meet people like that... people who camp and do good deeds at the same time. These are the kind of people I like to associate with. And I like the hammock camp concept. I even have a hammock, just never camped in it. As for tobacco, I don't know how you could go wrong with "tr...

Re: Mr Moo

Been awhile since I've heard mention of Mr. Moo... I sure do miss him and a few of the ol' members.

I'm with your wife on this one. Curio cabinets are for... curios.

If you have a cool vintage pipe or some Danish bling, by all means, put it in there.

But daily smokers? Nah
Hey, isn't this a ban-able post? 8-)

Tell me about it. I've got a sister up that way. I drove to SD not too long ago and had to reroute due to flooding on I- 29.

Re: What Are You Smoking April 2019

Yesterday's part deuce: The kid and I grabbed Bojangles carryout and finished the morning (and lunch) at the local park. He hit the swings and slides for awhile, then we headed to the pond to throw rocks while I enjoyed a bowl of Lanes Dark Red in the ol' Willard.

Re: What Are You Smoking April 2019

The rain finally stopped in KY, so the boy and I stepped outside yesterday. He ran off some cabin fever while I stuffed what appears to be the second- to-last bowl of my aged Carter Hall into the Dr Grabow Starfire. The last couple of bowls have been quite tasty, and this one proved no exception. ht...

Re: What Are You Smoking April 2019

So about 6 months or so ago, I bought a couple Dr. G's and after 4-5 smokes the finishes suddenly blistered and bubbled. Just now the Grand Duke I was smoking did the same thing.. totally cool bowl, then all the sudden bubbles in the finish. I think this is happening because the briar has moisture ...

Re: "Elementary, my dear Watson..."

I picked up The Sherlock Holmes Collection (with Basil and Nigel) while I worked on the road. I found it either at Loves or a Flying J truck stop. It only had 4 stories on it, a couple of old movie trailers, and an interview with Sir Arther Conan Doyle. Must have watched it at least 10 times, so I'v...
