What Are You Smoking June 2020
Taking my maiden voyage with G.L. Pease's Sextant in a Brigham System 26S Rhodesian I received a day ago. So far, I am unable to really give a verdict for the pipe or tobacco. I really love Navigator.... Like really really love it. So far it seems the oils from the Latakia may outshine the topping a...

Re: Latest Pipe Purchase 2020
I went to a tobacco shop in Muncie IN yesterday, finding much the same delirium surrounding glass as seems to be the norm these days. Once upon a time, this shop had 3 cases of pipes and was the only place I've ever seen the BC Astral pipes in stock. As is the case nearly everywhere I suspect, briar...

Re: Famous People and What They Smoked
SRV smoked pipes as well. I’ve never seen anyone mention the blend. Einstein is said to have smoked Revelation. I bought a couple ounces of C&D Epiphany because it is supposed to the match. I was thinking it would help my cerebral functioning. It did not. It’s the only tobacco I could not finis...

Kraken soaked Red Ox Twist in an MM Legend, coffee on the side. Hard to keep lit, but the heaviness suits me this morning.

Thunder Extreme Red Strong Everywhere around me quit carrying General, and its only a matter of time before this goes away where I live. I suppose I should wrap my head around another online order soon. I'd like to find a a snus that tastes like Kodiak, but I reckon it would be harder to hide at work.

Re: Hello Again
Welcome! Favorite smoke? That there sir, is a loaded question if there ever was one! I'm inclined to say whatever is in the bowl at any given moment, but Briar Fox, Navigator, Quiet Nights, and JKP all stand out in my mind. I am very much a C&D and Pease diehard, but I also find a lot of Prince...

Hello Again
It had been suggested I introduce myself in the new members area. I'm afraid I'm not much more interesting than I was when I created my original account 8 yrs ago. I'm just another in the legion of individuals here stricken with adhering to the arcane enjoyment of briar and cob, intrinsically addict...

Red Ox Twist in a MM legend with coffee alongside.I may not have much of my nosehair left after lighting it, but I like what it settles into, and I like that the wind died down in Indiana so I can smoke this morning.
