Re: Latest Tobacco Purchase 2019

Just ordered a tub of Chatom Manor. I've never smoked this blend before, but I do like Carter Hall which it mimics, so they say.

Some years ago I read on another forum with a similar topic that Lee Van Cleef's neighbor told the writer of the article that Lee smoked Carter Hall mostly.

Re: Burley Blends revisited

C&D burley blends can be rather so so when their fresh. Most say their a little harsh, but not to my taste. After they sit for a few months they open up taste wise. C&D makes the best burley blends there are IMO. Try Pegasus for a tasteful blend. Ray is Pegasus soapy like the old Bond Street?? I de...

Re: Lane limited ready rubbed

Are they considered aromatic I currently only smoke butternut burley but I’m trying to find something like that I’ve tried several aros and they all bite me bad. If you like Butternut Burley, you'll love Scotty's Trout Stream from Pipes & Cigars. It's backordered right now, but they restock very qu...

Re: Lane limited ready rubbed

It's good, but I prefer Sutliff Ready Rubbed Match. I find the Sutliff Match closer to the original Edgeworth RR.

Re: Do Smooth Savinellis Have Fills?

I have 2 cheaper smooth Savs, but they only have 1 or 2 fills. They smoke great and to me that's what important. I do, however, prefer the rusticated Savs because I like the looks and they feel good in the hand.

Re: I'm out of tobacco

What our lifestyle needs from online tobacconists is a system that automatically reorders our favorites and ships them to us. We select the amount and date(s) to be shipped. The system will automatically charge your credit card. Just a thought, while I ponder what blends I'll smoke this evening.
