Your Favorite Blends of 2018

What blends did you smoke the most in 2018? Did you discover any new ones? Regardless of how long or short, make a list or two of your top blends from last year! I'm always curious as to what my fellow pipers smoke the most of, and even though the monthly "What Are You Smoking" give me an ...

Me too. I s'pose this is a good reason to reach out and say hello to our fellow members more often; we're not here for a long time, we're here for a good time.

Re: IN MEMORY OF NITEHAWK

That's really sad news Mayor. I remember his avatar from the original Pipe Smokers Forum. If he was a friend to you, he was probably a cool guy. And you're right, there aren't so many salty dogs left. I suppose we can best honor Nitehawk by following the salty dog example.

My Condolences,
-Brandon

Re: What are you smoking Jan . 2019

The McClelland 44 yesterday spoiled the heck outta me; now it's all I can think about, heh! I'm rubbing up some Capstan Blue Flake for my BriarWorks Rhodesian for a next-best-thing Virginia experience. https://i.imgur.com/phYLtq3.jpg That darn warning label was really ruining the picture for me, so ...

Re: New Year's in Quebec

That seems like a GREAT place to spend the New Year's holiday. I love that old gothic architecture on that church too - sort of like a "small" version of La Cathédrale Notre Dame. Those old cities with areas and/buildings that are largely untouched by war or modern influences (outside of t...

Re: What are you smoking Jan . 2019

Smoking Condor long cut in a clay that was previously owned by Old Ted. I've had this pipe for a few years and I only smoke Condor in it because that's what he smoked. That's really cool. I've got some Condor lined up for later. I'm looking to refill my stash of it, even if it is the new Poli...

Re: Birth year vehicles

Im quite sure you guys can guess by these cars that I'm pretty young, and aside from most of the 80's cars being total junk, there were a few exceptions. These are my personal favorites. Definitely make sure to put a set of jumper cables in the trunk of that Jag though, haha! Jaguar XJ-SC (V12) - Ve...

Re: What are you smoking Jan . 2019

I hope you all had a good year and a safe, healthy, and enjoyable holiday season. Now comes the real winter! I'm starting 2019 off on the right foot with a bowl from a four-year-old batch of McClelland No.24 "Matured Virginia", sort of as a way of saying goodbye. Although my experience wit...

Re: What Are You Smoking December 2018

I'm having a very over-thirty kind of New Year's Eve; I'm working my way through some favorite blends I stashed away earlier in the year and watching the Reno-911 marathon on Comedy Central. A bit of a lonely night, but hey, it's a heck of a lot better than being out in the night getting up to no go...

:awesome:
I really like that pipe. I think I saw it in one of your posts earlier in the month, and I meant to compliment you on it. That's one marque I'd like to add to my collection, and a bent Dublin would be my number-one choice.
