Re: What are you smoking Jan . 2019
Got hit by the GH urge, and I'm dipping into my Grasmere Flake stash. There's something about the earthy and herbal essence of Grasmere that's really comforting; a lot like herbal teas. I'm also on a Perique kick with Chenet's Cake and Kajun Kake. Using my Nording bent billiard, a dedicated Lakeland...

Re: What are you smoking Jan . 2019
Had my first bowl of Picayune last night, compliments of Father Tom. I haven't had much time with it, but it seems like great stuff, and it passed the 'I want another bowl test with flying colors. On this 17°F morning, I'm cozied-up by my gas fireplace with my pipes and The Adventures of Huckleberry...

Re: What are you smoking Jan . 2019
Got some Chenet's Cake in the Radice right now, and just received some Picayune from Fr_Tom in the mail. I've been enjoying the former very much, and the aroma of the latter is enticing to say the least.

Treating myself to some Chenet's Cake in the Radice Rind Rhodesian with a ginger beer on the side. Feeling a little better about things tonight; dug my Lucy a nice grave earlier. I'm positively knackered. Gonna puff on this 'til kingdom (or sleep) come. https://i.imgur.com/rIAmLga.jpg Happy Piping F...

Re: What are you smoking Jan . 2019
I am really, REALLY hoping that stuff will make a comeback. There's really nothing quite like it, and sadly I didn't stock up on it.
Excellent choice for a half bowl too!

Re: What are you smoking Jan . 2019
Puffing away on some Kajun Kake from July 2017. Having a cup of some fancy French press coffee with it - an excellent combo. Had some Petit Robin earlier and nearly forgot how much I liked that semois. Took this photo earlier while I still had some light: https://i.imgur.com/mMjaLYY.jpg Also, I want...

Re: What are you smoking Jan . 2019
At the risk of launching into a sermon, one of those qualities of life is that our days are numbered. It is very hard to lose a loved one - 4-legged or 2-legged. We have an appreciation for the fact that they played a more significant role in our lives than we may have realized. Understanding that ...

Re: What are you smoking Jan . 2019
Puffing on a year-old batch of Astleys 44 with a heavy heart. There's an empty spot next to me here where my best pal always laid down. My thanks go out to to Bruyere "Tsal" Royale, Mike Dennison, and Longshanks for your condolences for the death of my boon companion, Lucy. Time mends brok...
Re: Funeral

Re: What are you smoking Jan . 2019
Today my best buddy passed away, my Lucy; a 3-years-young Oriental Shorthair I rescued from a shelter. She was struck by a car just before sunrise. Being the hermit type of guy that I am, Lucy was special to me beyond words, and more dog-like than any feline pal I've ever had. She never meowed inces...
