Seems like a new cut would result in a different burn rate and possible change in flavor.

I third the Savinelli choice.
They are reasonably priced, well made, smoke GREAT, and come in every shape that you could possibly want.
They smoke fantastic with or without the balsa filters.

Orange all the way, followed by cherry. Didn't care for chocolate, wasn't sweet enough.
