No cherry bon bon !?! Nice box , man . That Meer with the yellow stem and band .. the color on the bowl looks really super cool ! It's a Baronite ! it is super cool being a glazed pottery outside bowl with an unglazed inner bowl with an air gap inbetween, which absorbes moisture and cools the smoke...

I am a carbon steel fan , big time . I also have a carbon opinel #8 .... I can get it scary sharp . It stays in my " cellar " and I use it to cut plug etc . The locking ring is very cool , theyre a great knife I've a few but always found them hard to open with cold wet hands (mine anyway)...

I used to like the bulldog, but I cannot get into pipes with geometric shapes outside circle and oval. Square shank billiards don't do it either. My style is drifting toward the organic shaped Danish inspired offerings, but I still have a soft spot for traditional English shapes. OK I'm just a simp...
