Stoveit. I used this recipe but ended up adding more SWRA, 40% The hot Bruno ends up smelling like smokey beef jerky. It's good.Houtenziel wrote: ↑Sun Nov 22, 2020 8:09 pmIs the microwave to sort of turbo-stove it? Let cool and top dress with SWRA . . . Microwave for 30 seconds. Jar / tin for a few days to marry. I would estimate the SWRA to be 20 - 25% of the total mixture.

I have never weighed the components . . . I mix by sight. Could very well be closer to your mix.Bruyere_Royale wrote: ↑Sun Nov 22, 2020 8:19 pmStoveit. I really like this blend and I'm definitely going to make a larger batch when I order tobacco again.. it's just one of those mixtures that works well together.simplepipes wrote: ↑Sun Nov 22, 2020 8:26 pmI have never weighed the components . . . Would you direct me to where it's posted? Thankssimplepipes wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2020 8:03 pm The older I get the less complicated I want things . . .
I have been smoking this mix for a few months and really enjoy it. I mixed 5 pounds over the Holidays which includes 2 pounds each Smokers Pride Mellow Taste and Sutliff 515 RC - 1 and 1 pound Mac Baren Virginia #1. That would be 40 / 40 / 20 respective percentages. Needs to marry now for some time.
I appreciate the components being readily available and cost friendly. Not creative enough to name it and have just been referring to it as SPMT Mix.

I have a tin of the MB pure Virginia flake that I didn't find to exciting. Maybe I just couldn't smoke it slow enough. Think I'm going to order some blending perique and try my hand at mixing up a Va/Per of my own.

My Redheaded Bombshell blend is too expensive to make ., IRC shipping is horrendous etc ... maybe ill make it again but Ive been playing with a similar blend lately
Basically , a cup of an all black cavendish that isnt highly flavored , like Lane BCA or SPBC . A couple small pinches of CB Cherry and a pinch of SWR . Im after a mild cherry flavor in the background and it seems to be pretty nice . Ive made it a few times now and like it . One day Ill get a scale , lol
