Yeah, I love Latakia too, unfortunately the girls in my house don't care for the room note. :)

Well, in my search for an optimal replacement for the old Balkan Sobranie, I know I've got a potential candidate when my wife says "that smells like that Balkan Sobranie crap you used to smoke."

I had some left over broken up C&D Redburn and i mixed it with some old crumbs of Amphora Full Aroma that i had. What i got was just amazing. It was a chocolate, rum Burley. I am adding a pouch of Amphora Full on next order just to make a batch of this. I have plenty or Red Burn but im always out of the Amphora's, no matter how many pouches of them i buy.

8 grams G&H Kendal Gold
8 grams PS Toasted Burley
6 grams PS Turkish Blend
4 grams G&H Kendal Kentucky
2 grams C&D Izmir
2 grams C&D Granulated Perique

The shag cut of the Gold and Kentucky make blending a bit of a challenge. I kind of pull strands of shag apart and then fold everything together and repeat.

The perique tends to settle to the bottom, so I do a little mix with my fingers before pulling out a plug from the jar. Cannonball the plug right into your pipe and enjoy.

Let's go ahead and bump this thread back to the mainstream since a few of us have lost our cotton pickin minds and are going to use noodle machines to make plugs.

I just measured out the lat I'll need for the upcoming fun and may have spritzed it with a little Myers rum
