Has PA changed recently?

I have been noticing that my last two pouches of PA are around 25% worthless dust, and the topping tastes significantly different and kinda tingles the tongue. I borrowed a sample of some old stuff from my father-in-law and it smokes/tastes how I remembered it.. so I let him try a bowl from my pouch and he said he noticed a big difference too. They've recently done a complete package redesign and the pouches are now different, but I didn't think the contents would have changed.. Anyone else notice a quality change?

I have noticed a change in the cut and more "fish flakes." I am almost done with a fresh pouch, and it tastes the same to me. There has not been any dust in mine.

I think the taste varies for me bowl to bowl now, most likely these 60 year old taste buds. No dust though.

I just opened a 14oz tub and have no dust. Seems the same to me as always. The last two pouches I bought weren't any different than I'm used to. Possible you just got a bad couple pouches I guess. I'll buy a pouch from the B&M and see how it is. Not that I need an excuse to buy PA...

Just to follow up on this - I have gone through a couple pouches of PA, and I just got a pouch of CH today that is burning me bad(chemically, not temp/steam). I've experimented with other blends back to back with PA/CH and they are the only two that burn me. I am going to jump to conclusions and say that either Middleton changed something, or I have become intolerant of whatever flavoring/casing they are using. I feel like the doc just told me I am allergic to bread and butter.
