hi guys, quick question here.
if im looking to polish a smooth pipe, is automotive carnauba wax cleaner wax acceptable to use or should i get the bar of pure wax instead?
pipe wax
As above said. No auto wax on pipes, too much solvent in it which will make the pipe smell like benzene and might taste like it.

Yep, I'd never use car wax on a pipe.
Carnauba wax is a bit hard for hand polishing, so I made my own polish by melting approximately 3 parts carnauba to one part bees wax & then mineral oil until I was happy with the consistency. It's still a solid but melts when applied with a cloth much quicker than straight carnauba wax.
When I get a variable speed dremel tool & clamp, I'll use straight carnauba wax & use my homemade polish for touch ups.
