For MMM, I've resolved to troubleshoot a poorly smoking meer as best I can.

The burn chamber needed to be deepened to line up with the draft hole; the drilling just kissed the very bottom of the burn chamber and there was a little well for condensation to gather and gurgle.

First step was to soak the chamber in water overnight to soften things up for carving.

After that, I used a standard twist drill bit do deepen the burn chamber, and a round nose pipe knife to even it up.

Test smoke tomorrow. If this doesn't help, I'm re-profiling the bottom of the burn chamber with a "specialized"reamer to make it slightly less conical.

That was too easy....

Gurgle solved. Any further work is purely cosmetic.
