Nice box , man . That Meer with the yellow stem and band .. the color on the bowl looks really super cool !

It's a Baronite ! it is super cool being a glazed pottery outside bowl with an unglazed inner bowl with an air gap inbetween, which absorbes moisture
and cools the smoke, also keeps the outer bowl cool to hold, it's downside is when it's tarred up it's a bastard to clean, soaking in hot water and
messing about with pipe cleaners is the best way I've found so far
