I lost my original draft, so here it is again. My chinese covers work OK. However I have a couple of pipes that have chamfered fronts (Peterson ) for one.
I made this from a Baked Bean tin lid, now I've bent the front to cover the chamfer.
I've got too much time on my hands due to lock down !

Don't file & smooth edges.
You can use it to skin a deer.
If you get in a fight, you can cut the other guy to ribbons !
