I have a Grabow Regal Zulu with a finish that bubbles when I smoke it. It is in good shape otherwise. It has been smoked but not abused. I know I should remove the finish, etc. The problem is that the bowl is too small for me to really be happy with it. I could invest time and energy, and still reach for a wider bowl.

If anyone would like it as a project and a smoker, I will pass it on, pay the postage, etc.

Here are some pics.

That’s a generous offer. I have a box of estates waiting for their turn on the bench already. It’ll make someone a fine pipe.

And that's one of those great German vulcanite Grabow stems! Nice and thin.

I'd refinish it in a heart beat ! Someone should get a hold of it that wants to do a refinish job . Give it till tbe end of the weekend and if no one steps up to get it , ill snag it and make a refurb video

That sounds like a plan. It is a great pipe, and someone would love to have it I am sure.

It has been smoked enough to need reaming a couple of times. I think that means "yes."
