Any of you guys ever have a pair of boots custom made? I was in Fort Worth this week for work and had the chance to go to M. L. Leddy’s over in the Stock Yards. Man o man. Started at $1400 and I was told the most expensive pair they had made was $22,000.

Never had a custom made pair of boots, I would though if I could afford them. Currently I have a nice pair of Danner loggers that set me back a cool 350.

For 22k it better be made of Bigfoot hide!

If I could swing it, I would have a custom pair made.

I was just thinking the same thing.. I just spent 140 bucks on a pair of Georgia Boot Loggers, and that is probably the most money I've ever spent on any piece of attire.
The $22k pair better have been made for ZZ Top or something.. :D

Elephant started at $2800 I believe. Ostrich at $3400.

The alligators were the most expensive leather because they are farm raised with no scars. These had hand tooled shafts and were incredible. This pair was $8000.

They had some on the shelf but they said they preferred to measure and make them for exact fit.

Kevin Keith off the rack guns my rear. I know better than that unless you’ve sold it which I doubt.

Just think about the cobs, bags of SPRT, Picayune, etc. you could buy with $22K. I am guessing you don't get boots like that to slop the hogs.
