"Fred! Fred! Fred!! ----- We're so proud!!!"

Darn right they're proud. Fred is a Stomper.

The bald guy in the stands was the Mayor of New Orleans at the time.

There is nothing undignified about trying to dance like a Stomper. It's admirable. They are ordinary men with extraordinary moves.

Happy Mardi Gras!

I'm in the Krewe de Jeanne d'Arc. We roll on January 6 to open the Mardi Gras season. Joan of Arc is a candlelit walking parade very different from the Stompers. All in the same spirit of Mardi Gras, though. New Orleans is a jewel with many facets. I don't have the dancing skills to be a Stomper.
