Whenever I said something stupid as a kid my father would say, "You talk like a man with a paper ass". To this day I don't understand what he meant by "a man with a paper ass".
luckily in this day and age you might be able to google it and find an answer. My favorite quotes I used all the time when I was still working. OK, they aren’t famous, but I did say these things or reasonable facsimiles thereof. Forthwith.
“I came in late so I’ll take off early to make up for it.”
“Don’t just do something, sit there.”
"They can't charge me with anything if I don't do anything,"
When people asked how many tickets I usually would write I’d say, “Two a day or ten a week, whichever comes first.”
“I want some...what is it?”
“Are those donuts fresh? No? Then are they free?”
“Who made this coffee?”
“Am I right or Amarillo?”
