It could be worse. When I wear a trench coat, a fedora and small eyeglasses, I get told I look like the Nozi in the movie you're talking. When I wear larger eyeglasses, I get called Truman Capote.Ronv69 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 17, 2021 12:11 pm I have my favorite fedora that I love. I've had it for over 15 years now. Only drawback is some guy wore a similar hat in a movie and people call me illinois or something when I wear it. Especially if I wear it with my A2 jacket. It's waterproof, crushable and it keeps my head warm without being too hot....
It's no wonder I have a hat complex and obsess about what works best.

And I've always pictured you in a Nazi uniform with the voice of Truman Capote.

The first thing I ever knew anything about Truman Capote was when I saw the movie Murder by Death when I was a kid----at the movies!. They don't make them like that anymore...

I tell ya these stormy Kromers are a great functional piece of headwear. My wife hates it but what does she know about anything anyway. It keeps my bald head nice and warm, shades my eyes, the band covers your ears, and they have a lifetime warranty! You can’t beat it. If it gets super cold out I throw a toque over it as an added layer of protection.

It’s hat day at school today so my oldest boy decided to borrow some duds to go with his cowboy hat he bought when we visited my mom in Texas. My boys loved hat shopping in Texas lol. He tried like hell to get me to buy him a resistol 20x but he had to settle for a Justin felt if he wore it all the time and wasn’t growing like a damn weed I might have bought it for him.
