For years, Budweiser was the best selling beer in Ireland. A 2015 report said Heineken, lol!

Happy St Patrick's Day!

I had the pleasure of escorting around three Scotsmen for around six months sent over here from our parent company. They were amazed at the low prices of our whiskey and seemed determined to deplete the entire supply while here. The Irish have a reputation, deserved or not, of being great consumers of the poteen. They would indeed have to be iron men to keep up with these boys. No novice myself at the time, I was always reduced to the status of "girlyboy" by the end of the evening. Next day at work they were always fine while I was contemplating suicide. Must be something in the genes. All those ancient Viking invasions must have left something behind besides their drinking horns.
