My simple, standard, EDC.
I taught both my kids, always have a blanket in the car and a knife and a lighter on you.
There are days when a Zippo and a tamper are also in the mix.
I wonder if "blame Wildcat" will become a theme here? - Fr_Tom
Because no one will ask and I'm a nerd who thinks he's James Bond.
Starting at top left:
GTFO Bracelet and a length of Teflon cord.
Anal retention redundancies in a modified chapstick tube.
Mini flashlight.
Magnets and magnetized needle.
Hair clip.
Modified Handcuff key.
Set of Bogota picks.
Gulag shim and split ring.
Second row:
Povidone-Iodine Ointment
Antacid
Two mini glow sticks
SADD TOOL
SADD TOOL sheath/specific model handcuff bypass tool
Striker/ Two Storm proof matches
Rubber band
Third Row:
Antidiarrhea
Antihistamine
Door pass/shove knife
Fourth Row:
Burn gel
Steri straps
Two Bobby Pins
Small amount of cash
Tin/signaling mirror, fireplace
Again I carry alot of the escape tools integrated into my clothes and hidden on my body. This tin serves as a redundancy of items if they are exhausted from other sources. Need to be replaced or passed to a comrade.
I practice escaping restraints solo and with a friend. I can not be restrained. Lol. I can pick and shim double locked cuffs wrapped in duct tape behind my back blindfolded while being assaulted. Just short of being knocked unconcious of course.
Hinged handcuffs on the other hand, will buy you sometime to get me to the secondary slow burn site, but you better have back up for when I do get loose cause that's where life and death are closely related.
I've been pressure tested multiple times in all these skills with high success by dudes who are way more high speed than me. I could never repay these gentlemen for the lessons learned, bruises and lacs healed. Lol.
I'm done bragging, any questions?

I cannot imagine what it's like to carry around all of this stuff in my pockets on a daily basis and a firearm on your hip. That would drive me nuts. I wear suspenders for a reason which is to have nothing restricting around my waist let alone all these things swashing around in my pockets as I walk.Jlando19 wrote: โThu Apr 08, 2021 12:55 pm Because no one will ask and I'm a nerd who thinks he's James Bond.

The Troll Whisperer
None of the things in this picture are in my pockets. Some of them are literally sewn into my clothes. The tin lives in my back pack. I ride a motorcycle 99% of the time so I always have a backpack. Even when I don't ride the back pack comes along. There's even more stuff in it. Lol. I'll dig up pics.Bruyere_Royale wrote: โThu Apr 08, 2021 1:33 pmI cannot imagine what it's like to carry around all of this stuff in my pockets on a daily basis and a firearm on your hip. I'm used to people thinking I'm crazy. Can't deny that.

I don't think your crazy I just get confused about the whole EDC, I just assume it's what you carry around in your pockets.Jlando19 wrote: โThu Apr 08, 2021 1:39 pmNone of the things in this picture are in my pockets. This is my bag and my blow out/stop the bleed insert.
Not only am I self sufficient but I'm a highly skilled natural selection intervention specialist. I can seal holes, tourniquet limbs, perform thoracentesis (would probably get my license revoked off duty, but I'd do it to save your life), place airway adjuncts, splint, bandage etc. I can't really perform ALS skills outside the delegated practice of my medical director with out risking major penalty. I'm also trained in covert and forced entry and I shoot with both eyes open.
On here I'm Jlando who smokes a pipe. In real life I'm am asset not a liability.
My entire life is training of some sort. Just wish I had got Uncle Sam to foot some of the bill.
Lol
