I run a small hotel in New Orleans. It's in Louisiana, in case you're thinking of another New Orleans I've never heard of.

Much less complicated time.

I remember Charles Nelson Reilly, probably from Hollywood Squares.

Gene Rayburn was the creepiest...he probably would be on half a dozen "known offender" lists nowadays. People liked Nipsey Russell but no one was more popular than Richard. Everyone slobbered over him. CNR was funny and he was usually smoking a pipe with a baldness covering cap and giant windshield glasses. That show was really tame by today's "standards" but it's a hoot...still!

I don't think they'd be drunk in the afternoon.

.... but no one was more popular than Richard.
That's because he had the contestant's best interests at heart:

The audio isn't too good on this clip, but it's worth it to turn it up.

Exhibit B:

The second round that kicks in at 16:00. I have a particular sweet spot for Charles' shirt and tie combination but we're here to see Richard standing up for his answer.

And.... check out CNR smoking a pipe and wearing that jacket. He's pulling a WK. I almost bought a jacket like that two weeks ago. All he needs is a blue fedora.

Okay, that's enough from me for now. Cheers!
