Well......so i have had to reboot my router continuously lately, started fidgeting with it, and botched all connectivity. So, I had to go to the mega electronics store (not the one where all the CS Reps are mean, the one where they're all nice), and picked up another router.

After more fidgeting, I did get the connection, but had to also
  • Reset the wireless adapter for the PC
  • Reset the wireless for the phone
  • Reset the laptop
  • Reset the TV, to be done later
But as an added bonus, although the one I got is just big enough to handle my embarassingly low data load, it does reach the lounge, where I can continue to register inane commentary that most of you could do without, and this without using up data from the most powerful company on earth, Verizon.

Good job! But...I thought Comcast was the most powerful company on earth. Or is that the Google? :ugeek:

Comcast routers are expensive. $150/year.
My $100 dollar router is going on 8 years. I am shopping for a good replacement, but no hurry.
