As I live in this province, I bet you had a grand time for yourself. It's one great way to start off your year!
I spend a couple of days in Québec two or three times a year; the wife and I never tire of this beautiful city.

If you can, go for a drive on île d'Orléans, it's 20 minutes away from Vieux Québec and really worth the time spent there.

That seems like a GREAT place to spend the New Year's holiday. I love that old gothic architecture on that church too - sort of like a "small" version of La Cathédrale Notre Dame. Those old cities with areas and/buildings that are largely untouched by war or modern influences (outside of the necessities) most definitely have a je ne sais quoi, ay?
Well, looks wonderful to me. Hope you had a great time up there!

And miles to go before I sleep.
