Japanese pop idol Shiina Ringo shows that a mega star can refuse to conform to expectations and still be massively embraced and appreciated. Proof that the status quo can actually get it right on occasion.

Music is like pipe tobacco. There is a blend for everybody.

Jethro Tull Songs from the Wood. I bought this album August 1977 still plays very very well.

Been listening to a lot of Paul McCartney lately. I had pretty much everything that he did after the Beatles and then downloaded what I didn't have to create a 3 disc overview of Paul spanning from his first solo album up to the early 2000's. Reminds me of when I was a kid. :D

Clint Black Greatest Hits 1996. I listened to Clint a lot while sailing (Army Watercraft Operator) down to Panama in the early 90's. I was pretty excited about finding this old CD at a Flying J truck stop while working on the road several years ago. Just found it buried in the truck and started playing it again. Good times, good times. ;)
