It's some weird variation on the law of magnetism or something. If you smoke a pipe they just keep showing up. Doesn't matter if you shuffle them all off, you're still carrying that charge and act like a lightning rod for misc. pipes.

Also, congrats! I see a Barling! Couple Grabow! And a Brylon! Nice acquisition. Still a cob man now or are you going to accept some briar back into the mix?
I am still a child of the corn. It will be fun to clean them up. I might give one or two a smoke, and I am definitely keeping the brylon.

Is that nick on the outer bowl? And, is there a crack in the bowl or is it just in the polish? Or, am I totally imagining things?

Where the stumble meets the stem is pure artistic craftsmanship. This pipe has a nice profile.

Probably just rim cake and trick of the camera. No cracks observed in hand.

Thanks, I'm a fan of the silhouette as well.

Bought a Peterson Aran No. 3 last week. It is in general a very nice pipe, but...I find the bowl to be a bit small. What pipes with bigger bowls would you recommend?

In my limited experience, Savinelli's seem to have larger bowls than Petersons.
