MB Symphony / norm tiptow poker / coffee
It is quite good. There is a little spice from the DFK and some fruit from the Virginias. The DFK gives some nose tickle on the snork. There is a mild, slightly heavy, sweet topping that is pleasant, but I can't quite identify the flavor. I looked up the blend, and it is supposed to be rum and molasses. Maybe that is it. At any rate it is tasty.

FWIW, I have been rubbing it out and then codger scooping from my hand basically. My sense is that it might benefit from a little air, but it smokes fine straight out of the tin.

I am so surprised. Not.
I bet that is a good blend for you
(i'm sure you're right, which would mean that is one for me to stay away from)

FWIW, there is no barnyard perique. It is a solid medium on the nicotine meter in my estimation. I could make it a regular smoke, but the cost per tin is probably about like a pound of Double Down, so that is not going to happen.

Here's what Fr_Tom sent me in trade for the tin of Jupiter I sent him. Yay! Thanks, Padre!

Expensive but worth it. I saw it it the store a few minutes ago. I reasoned that since I lost an auction last night and the price I was willing to pay for the items was the same as this 12 ounce tub, I might as well buy this SWRA. Oh, the little lies we tell ourselves. I will enjoy smoking this stuff though!

Have another decent size order coming in. The best of the rest English blend seemed like to good of a deal not to grab two pounds of. Trying pad the cellar more this year after not purchasing any pipe tobacco for about 5 years.
