Can't wait to get to this! Also, having never purchased a tin before, keep it in the opened tin or jar it?

If you go through it within 10 days or less
Leave it
Longer and, depending, it will dry out

Jar it unless you plan on smoking thru it in a week.JTWilliams wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2019 4:55 pm Can't wait to get to this! Also, having never purchased a tin before, keep it in the opened tin or jar it?

Turns out it's a right fine equivalent of SHPC Great Hiatus!JTWilliams wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2019 4:55 pm Can't wait to get to this! Also, having never purchased a tin before, keep it in the opened tin or jar it?

Last night I ordered a tin of Esoterica Margate from Paylesscigarsandpipes online. Received shipping notification this morning and it appears they have a few left in stock. A bit overpriced, but I've been wanting to try it.
I learned my lesson from jarring samples and single tins in the past, you eventually end up with what appears to be a hoarding problem. If I jar anything it has to be enough to fit in one large jar. I have a 5 jar limit.

You are 100% correct, which is why I moved my tobacco collection to a locking steel file cabinet. I especially like the jars because it allows me to smoke whatever I want when I want. If I die before I've emptied that cabinet my heirs will finally realize where I spend my pocket money, LOL.Bruyere_Royale wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2019 6:01 pmI learned my lesson from jarring samples and single tins in the past, you eventually end up with what appears to be a hoarding problem.
