I concur. I think I just want an old pot so bad that I trick myself into seeing what I want. This doesn't qualify as a pot shape to me. Anyone else agree?

I love estate pipes and lot auctions on eBay. A great way to get a good rotation of smokers and a good supply to practice your cleanup skills if your into that.Surlywill wrote: ↑Fri Jul 05, 2019 3:51 pm
My eBay haul. All for $30 including shipping. The top one I rusticated. It was in bad shape. I took all the bowls down to bare briar and salt treated. A couple of the pipes had an awful floral ghost. The pot I had to restain. Not the prettiest but have smoked the falcon and top two and they smoke great. Easy way to get some beater pipes.

I have been thinking about getting one of their pipes .
But the Ben Wade ,just had to get it

I'm a big Dave McLary fan. He first learned pipe making from Bill Mincer in the 1960s, and does a brisk business on eBay under the name '70bearman.'Old Welder wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 12:04 pm I like some of the pipes made by McLary .
