I snagged this yesterday. A. Frankau was the precursor to the English BBB pipes. This one doesn't look old enough to be one of those early pipes. The style of the bowl and bit makes me think that maybe it's a homage done by BBB in the 30s or so.

I agree! It reminds me a lot of an early 20s City Deluxe I once had.
