A lady I used to work with had the pot given to her last week. Other than maybe being a fancy cake pan its intended use is unknown to her. Would any of you know the what the pot is called and what its use is?
Tell me what this pot is please.

Does it have a marking on the bottom? If it does.. Please post a picture of the bottom.
I have a small antique shop in las Vegas.. And I deal a fair amount of pottery. It looks like Ohio style pottery.. May be worth quite a bit. It may also be a folk art piece.. Either way, it's a beauty!
