I can't imagine any Chinese restaurant cooking without it.
Totally agree with you on the use of MSG in Chinese Restaurants as it enhances the flavor of poor and less than fresh ingredients.

Seems I'm the only duck sauce guy so far! Guess I like my Chinese food on the sweet side. :D

I used to dunk egg rolls in duck sauce back when they used to put shrimp in them, Now they're just filled with cabbage.
