I should have posted a trigger warning.

Thank you for standing up for all the marginalized and institutionally silenced Dum-Dum suckers out there. I want to delete that post but it's too late. It's permanent. At least let me personally apologize for any trauma I've caused anyone. I didn't realize that my thoughtless and unforgivable choice of words could cause anguish among some groups in the PSF community.

I'm going to hit the Exclamation Point and report that post to the mods as inappropriate for social justice reasons. You should, too. Let's start a Dum-Dum Suckers' movement.

I know a lot of suckers in my life that enjoy Dum-Dums more than Tootsie Pops. They collect the Dum-Dum wrappers for prizes. I consider more than a few of those Dum-Dum suckers my friends. I've got a lot of suckers for friends.

As long as we can all agree that people who like Blow-Pops are the lowest form of suckers.. I have no qualms with Dum-Dum disapproval. Marginal is still better than the lowest of the low gum lickers.
