I do miss Lone Star. Can get Shiner where I am. Used to go to Shiner, TX for the 4th of July each year. Their local celebration was awesome and not flooded with day trippers from Austin. The brewery would bring out tank trailers of beer and the fireworks were so close you would have ashes on you as you left. Good times.
Can't go wrong with cold whiskey, a hot grill and a good cigar.
Last night we had one of my favorite(and waist expanding) meals of Chicken & Dressing with Green beans, stewed Taters, Cole Slaw & jelled Cranberry Sauce. Kings don't eat that good Tonight it'll be a small salad to make up for being a glutton last night.
Just an old retired Telephone Man enjoying life one day at a time.
