What's For Supper?

Whalehead King

Unfortunately, they don't make McDLT anymore.

I can't remember the last time I saw Delta Gold potato chips.

Luckily, they still make Good 'n' Plenty, though I think the taste has changed.

I've always liked Good 'n' Plenty. I'm having Good 'n' Plenty for supper. I'm no role model.

True story:

I was next door when Mrs. King called me on the office phone this morning. A case of Cracker Jack had arrived on our home doorstep. "Did you really order a case of Cracker Jacks or is this another box pass from your pipe friends?" she asked.

I explained that I had bought a case of Cracker Jack in case we get quarantined. Plan ahead!

I may be having Cracker Jack for supper, should events turn into the worst case-scenario. With Cracker Jack on hand, how bad can it be?

Tonight I had a 3-Egg Ham & Cheese Omelet with Grits & Toast. I've been wanting this for some time and tonight was the night :awesome:

I had roast beef and some mushrooms that had been cooked with the meat.

They were amazing! Thank you. I understand you don't spend much time in the kitchen, unless I misunderstood what I've read, but I'm willing to share recipes, assuming that's allowed.

I don't spend a lot of time in the kitchen. That's Mrs. King's domain.

I'm also not eating a lot. Mrs. King says I'm losing weight. I don't think so, so much as I'm firming up because, with little to do right now, I'm doing more exercises than I normally would.

I like how burnt that bacon looks. I'll bet its a delicious combination of flavors.

The missus made a fine pot 'o' chili, and found the recipe for the Doubletree Hotel Chocolate Chip cookies... oh my... Yup, good, good recipe.
