So, which one was it that I bullseyed on the first try and now you won't take me shooting anymore because of it? LOLRuffinogold wrote: ↑Fri Dec 21, 2018 8:24 pm I used to have a Persian Mauser in 8mm . I need to buy it back . I believe it was from the mid/late 30s . The action on it was spectacular and it was dead on balls accurate .
Right now, I think my Ted Williams 30.06 is my oldest. It's been my hunting rifle for some time .

You guys have to under stand how tight the rear sight was and it's a long long rifle . Jennifer never shot before and i hook her up with this rifle at the range . She takes what seems like 20 minutes to aim ..... but damn it ... a dead on freakin bullseye at 100 yards . I mean it was centered in tbe center bullseye , i figured ... ok , thats that .. lol

Made for His Highness the Nizam of Hyderabad. Deccan. It has 26” rifled barrels with concealed third fastener (treble grip) with London Black Powder Proof marks. The right barrel is marked 'Holland & Holland, 98, New Bond Street. London.' The left barrel is marked 'Winners of all the "Field" Rifle Trials. London. 1883.'
Oh. Wait, I made a mistake. This is not my rifle after all. I was channeling another guy from another forum.
I don’t shoot it enough because it’s a pain for me to load black powder .45-70 rounds but I have an 1884 Springfield Trapdoor that was a full length rifle someone cut down to a saddle ring carbine.
