Actually, I promised myself when I was in high school I would one day have a Corvette - that was 1985. Fast forward to last year - a man in a nearby town who is a collector (owned 13 'vettes) decided to sell a couple - I got wind of it and paid him a visit - the rest is history. My vette? A 1985. It really isn't a midlife crisis but my wife and I joke about it being one all the time. By the way Ruffingold - I am 50, maybe you're just a late bloomer in the mid life crisis area
