Enjoying the last of my sample of Germain's royal jersey lat mix from Hout in the brandy. It's got some apple vibe to it as well. It was my first commissioned pipe and I told him not to worry about sticking to the classical rules and dimensions. When I picked it up I was handed a hearty sample of Penzance and it's burned a lot of that stuff since. This is the pipe that put me firmly in the briar / hand made / non aromatic camp
