Going through parent melt-down now. Dad passed 10 days ago and we are getting mom into assisted living. First things first.

I have not mentioned any of this as life has been a couple months of a continuous series of really bad family and life challanges, so to speak.
Nothing that others have not had to endure.
Concentrated tragedy is nothing new.

Man I'm sorry to hear about your Dad and I'm praying for you and your family, losing a parent is a rough business. I lost my Dad back in 08 from congestive heart failure and this last month my Mom was in really rough shape. I thought we were going to lose her but thankfully she managed to hang on with a couple of weeks in ICU and then a couple more in assisted living for therapy. She had already been diagnosed with COPD a few years back and now she's been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer for which she'll be starting chemo treatments soon.
You're right about the members here, it's a great bunch of folks.
