Cooked supper for the Old Folks tonight...my father stares at me in wonder.
Apparently he doesn't realize that when he wasn't teaching me how to hunt, fish, box, and be a man of character, mother was teaching me how to cook, do laundry, sew, press clothes, and clean house. 
Back home now, on the porch. The Kaywoodie Shellcraft lovat is burning Mark Twain Memoir. Club soda on the side.
