Lawn mowed, errands done, brunch well eaten. Now I'm on the porch on this lovely Saturday afternoon enjoying a bowl of Old Standby in this Sav Blue Alligator. Cold club soda on the side.

I came home and went to shoot a round of trap.. I think I might start doing Thursday night's. It kinda has the same vibe as bowling where everyone just sits around and shoots the breeze between rounds.

I find that I'm fitting in more with the old farts because I'm closer to them in age!

Another of this. :D
Mixed up a pouch of Old Standby the other day, and haven't smoked anything else since.

chock full 'o nuts...a/k/a brylon month... 8-)
The gauntlet is thrown. Only a caveman scoffs at brylon. As they teach in college these days:

"Sometimes you feel like a nut." They teach it more ways than one, in colleges today, now that I think of it. That doesn't disqualify my argument in favor calling a brylon pipe a special snowflake in the world of pipe smoking connoisseurs.

Exhibit A:

Brylon has no feelings. It is indestructible. Only a diamond will scratch it. Brylon is elemental. A briar pipe comes from a plant but a brylon pipe is a work of science!

I'm smoking Panama Jack Mango in my Kirstin. I've given my Yello-Bole Spartan's aluminum stinger a rest this August 31. The bowl itself looks as fresh as it did at the beginning of August. September isn't Brylon Month, though. September will be chock full o' another kind of nuts. That said, If I may be allowed to offer a personal opinion.: " BRYLON. A better a pipe, a millionaire's money can't buy."
