I have more than a few pipes
But the past few months I have been scoring sweet estate pipes for around $50
Cleaned by sellers I trust
"Ready to smoke"
I have an ozone generator if I want to indulge my OCD/Neurotic self

I know that at least one distinguished member here cleaned house regarding his more expensive pipes
I am there right there with him
Some will be expensive estates and some will be never smoked estates and a couple comissions

I will post some of the recent aquisitions as I come across them
They were all smoking deals $$$$$-wise

Now one expensive estate will escape my purge
A birth-year 1959 Dunhill Cherry Poker estate pipe
It is a killa

Estate for me, in this context, does not mean expensive, like the gold banded Dunhill which I will have to pry out of my one cold dead hand with the other hand

It means picking up the torch from the previous pipe-man
And that is a high-honor

If I were blind, the lower cost estate can perform as well as any pipe ever made
This one did set me back $70 but you cannot get this now short of a multi-hundred dollar comission, if at all.

That's where you converted me. I don't like estate pipes, but, when you put it like that, you make a good point of honor.

Thanks for cluing me in. I have to reconsider my stance.

But thankfully, I am not blind and you do not have to check asthetics at the door

That's one beautiful pipe, sir!

Most of my pipes are estates. Dear Sweetie buys me a Sav Saint Nicholas every year for Christmas, but ever other pipe I purchase is an estate.

Somebody has to merge two almost identical threads. It's a nice photo of that pipe.
