I had a Peterson and a Dr Grabow fitted with this sinister device.
Besides being very impractical when trying to clench them, P-Lips also have the terrible habit of significantly attenuate the taste of the tobacco.

P-lips are hard to clench and, speaking as a die hard, stem chewer, this can be a problem for me. I think this is why I like my P-lips. They force me to NOT clench and to slow down a bit, to take time and enjoy the smoke.
To each his own though.

...of course, if you don't agree with me....then that is YOUR opinion, enjoy!

As you've all gathered I tend to buck the trend.

I find no trouble clenching.

Someone must like them. They have been making them for 120 years.

That looks like a 302. I have one that clenches well. One of my XL's does and the other does not. The Kapruf is good for clenching. I might have to think what other p-lips I have...

They're great. Best thing about them is their ability to sit between pointy, slightly askew teeth. They find a comfortable place in there every time. Buy them, their dependability is bar none, they're there for you.
