So, out in other quadrants of Internetland there are these things called "pipe raffles" where dudes buy slots for a shot at a pipe. A few years ago I tried one, lost my shekels, and swore them off permanently.
Any of you know anyone who ever won one of those?

I've not seen such, but admit I likely would have considered it. I suppose it depends on who was setting it up.

I have never heard of this scheme, but it isn't something that would attract me, anyway, so that's no surprise. I live a sheltered life.
That said, if anyone wants to start something like this (I'm on record as being uninterested), you could create your own spinning wheel for everyone to try their chance. I think you can go to up to a hundred options but it has been a long time since I made one, for reasons unrelated to raffling off a pipe.

I learned my lesson about gambling at a very young age during a short stay in Las Vegas. Probably wouldn't be interested in a pipe raffle unless it was a Chonoswitsch or similar. Down here in Texas gun raffles are very common, but I've never participated in one. My nephew has several dozen fine rifles he bought from raffle winners for a fraction of their value.

I have never taken part in something like this. I might pay a buck for the opportunity, but it is not really my sort of thing.

I've never heard of such. It's probably above my ability to comprehend. Half of the games on TPIR are over my head!
