Maybe he had a tub of bondo but could not lay hands on the Elmer's. It is hard to know what people are thinking sometimes.

Here is my cobbled up corndog I did a while back. The bowl is MM, I cut the stem from maple, added a copper ferrule and topped it off with the ugly blue stem after dying it brown. I did open it up to 7/8”. I’ve put a fair amount of SWRA thru it while mowing.

Was out in the Barn getting some camping equipment ready for this weekend. Found an old m m that have been left out in the rain and dry it out, it was pretty rough. So I took it to a sanding motor and send it off and angle on the top and bottom of the bowl to kind of give it a corn dog look. I just realize I didn't do anything anything to the shank. Anyway here it is before I messed with it and then smoking it later ...

The pipe is so small I think it's an eaten or a pony . I couldn't go at too much of an angle because I'd lose too much Bowl. I'll try it on a larger pipe later and see if I can get more of an angle for a Bulldog look

I've got something cooking for this if I don't forget all about it before July is over. I'm still in the incubation period before I can let this idea hatch. It promises to be tasty if I can pull it off.

July is right around the corner. I'm fixin' to get on of my neglected cobs off the rack and into the workshop. Oh, I'm fixin', alright. Just like a trip to Roy Rogers, I aim to make a mess of this pipe the way I usually make a drippy mess of my hamburger with all the options at my disposal.

Shank is squared, bowl is cut. Needs to be fitted then glued.
Slow going, here at home with my kids for a month
