I have quite a bit to say about Mastercraft as time permits, but I wrote this in 2008 to help a friend understand the relationship with Dr. Grabow.
Pipedia picked it up and that was fine by me. It may seem a little 'corny' but it was 10 years ago.
Take a few minutes and read some..

Very interesting read. It's surprising how interconnected everything in the pipe world is.

One other thing I have to say.....

Most serious pipe smokers will have a pipe or 2 that came through the hands of Mastercraft and probably never realized it.
Whitehall (Culbro). Tinder Box (TBI) are only 2 examples.. ted

I received my Mastercraft meerschaum today. It's pretty nice! Looks like a Bakelite (or something similar) stem. The tenon is metal and is split so it provides a tight spring fit. The mortise is also metal. Seems good quality.
