I'll add I have good luck with Kaywoodies . Ive really had a lot of them over the years and i only cut offf two stingers or maybe three tops

I've had very good luck with the hand made stuff from W.O. Larsen & Svendborg which can both be found pretty reasonable on the bay. Haven't heard much good about their newer machine made stuff

The 3 Old England pipes from sasieni in my collection have been excellent and they can be snagged way reasonably with a bit of patience

The first pipe I owned (purchased in the mid 60s) was a GBD. I currently own 14 pre-mergers. I have no complaints with any of them.
