Actually, this might cause a problem. The cob will break before the oring pops out.

It seems weird to say great job after watching you drop the pipe and then post a pic of it broken... But best of luck with business!

Doesn't it though? I've been struggling with this puzzle. Is it good that my work is stronger than the natural material? Do i compromise on the fit and finish such that it will pop out if dropped, or treat it as a case of abuse if it breaks?

Either way, I will not be making any more Falcobs from cob bowls that haven't been plugged with hardwood, and there aren't any out there in the wild to cause me future warrantee issues.
