If anyone has any tins of Mel Feildman's "Civil War Pipe Tobacco" , or even the Pipes and Cigars match .. I would really be interested.
Will make it worth your while.

You wouldn't believe what I offered P&C to make a batch for me. At least I got a no. ted

I haven't heard of it but wanted to know more. Of course, TR had a review. It sounds good! http://www.tobaccoreviews.com/blend/128 ... -civil-war

P&C no longer makes the match I take it?

You would think that if you were willing to buy 10 pounds or something, they would be willing to mix up anything in the recipe book.

Tom, That's exactly how much I wanted and offered $1000. That's $6.00 + an ounce. About all they told me was "NO"... To be honest, I haven't bought anything from them since. td

Whoa... I would expect to have to pay full retail ($35 a pound or something) for a custom order. $1000 is way over the top.

Russ O should have done it on the side for that kind of scratch. They really don't want to blend any tobacco, do they? Well, since Sutliff blends most of their stuff maybe they would be interested?

Sounds like an interesting blend. I wonder if the answer would change if you spoke directly with Russ or contacted Sutliff instead of some low level desk jockey at P&C
